Irish Set-Dance opportunity - dancing meeting Tues Nov 3 7pm School of Music (18th & Boston) room M259
Free instruction: Learn and participate in the Irish social dances called set-dances with students learning and teaching from Ireland.
Are you a fan of social dancing and of the folk culture of the Celtic lands? Would you like to learn and participate in this great dance-style?
The Tech Set-Dancers organize a vocational set-dancing, based on the TTU campus, and inviting students, staff, faculty and community members who are interested in learning, teaching, and sharing the traditional participatory set-dances of Ireland.

We will be dancing, with live musicians, Tuesday Nov 3 7-8:30pm at the School of Music (18th & Boston, south of SUB), M259 (second floor). On the docket: Figs 5 & 6 of the Clare Orange & Green, the full Caledonian Set, and starting the Ballyvourney Jig Set. All are welcome.
A co-sponsored production of the TTU School of Music, the Vernacular Music Center, and the Caprock Celtic Association. The Tech Set-Dancers are a registered student association.
