Thank you to all 1,675 faculty, staff and students who contributed to the 2009 SECC. As of November 4th, we have pledged $490,396 to make a difference in our community and the lives of people in Lubbock, the State and the nation. We have exceeded our goal by $45,396 which is 110.2% of our goal!
Thank you to the many department SECC coordinators who conducted campaigns and fundraisers to help us achieve our goal.
Our Lone Star Club, donations of 1 hour per month or 1 percent of income, has grown to over 430 members. Membership in the Leadership Circle, donations of $1000 or more, has grown to 103 donors which is up by 17 percent. If you did not submit your Lone Star Club form to your department SECC coordinator, please do so by next week. We will be ordering the souvenir mugs in late November.
To date, the university, health sciences center and system administration have contributed $795,747 to the Lubbock Area SECC and helped the overall campaign exceed its goal by 3.9%, or $31,823.
