The Texas Tech Police Department is presenting information about what to do and what not to do during an Active Shooter Situation should one happen on campus. Through this training, you will be able to:
* Formulate an understanding of the definition of an active shooter and a brief history of active shooter events.
* Recognize possible early warning signals of an active shooter.
* Learn what to do when an active shooter event happens in or outside your residence hall or work place.
* Learn what to do when police arrive to stop the active shooter.
This presentation will last for approximately 90 minutes.
