The Texas Tech Polo Club would like to invite everyone to our fall recruitment party at our barn this weekend! Starting at 4:00 PM on Saturday September 10 we will be playing an exhibition polo match, cooking out (free food), as well as the opportunity for anyone to ride one of our horses. The barn is located just outside side of town (about 15 minutes from campus). Take I-27 south just past the strip, exit on FM 1585, turn left crossing under 27, and the barn will about a mile down FM 1585 on your left.
We play polo... on horses, but there is so much more. We are a group of friends. We have everything from beginner riding lessons for new members who have never ridden a horse before to competitive men’s and women’s teams which play against schools around the country. We have intermediate lessons for those who want to become better at riding and OF COURSE, we have polo lessons for those who want to learn about/play the sport of polo. Our club also has social events: Bonfires, Bar-B-Que's, Camp-outs, Trail rides, Road Trips, Game nights, Dinner get together, etc. etc. etc...... You never know what all could be going on at or with the Tech Polo Club. And the great thing is it's up to you... you can be involved in many different ways and you can be as involved or not as you choose to be. The great thing about our club is yes we are the polo club and we have some of the best polo players in our league, but we are not just about polo we are about friendships, memories and socializing as well. Even if you never ride a horse you can still come out and fit in at the Tech Polo Club. We hope to see you at the Barn this year. Wreck'em Tech... Polo!!!
