TTU/TTUHSC Latino/Hispanic Faculty & Staff Association (LHFSA) Annual Cultural Awareness Seminar presents: "Challenges and Rewards of Minorities in the Workplace" as this year's theme. We will discuss experiences of this years speakers and how they have overcome the challenges of their profession and also the benefits of persistence, hard work and dedication in their fields. This year we are honored to have Dr. Mukkades Darwish, Associate Professor in Construction Engineering and ET, Mr. Emilio Abeyta, Lubbock Defense Attorney, Gabriel Gonzales, Upward Bound Unit Coordinator and Dr. Kent Wilkinson, Associate Professor, Mass Communications.
