The new Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) name will not change the Institutional Review Board’s (IRB) mission of protecting the rights and welfare of human subjects participating in research at Texas Tech. The new name better reflects services provided by the office that do not involve the IRB.
The HRPP office website at www.hrpp.ttu.edu offers step-by-step instructions for submitting human subject research proposals, forms for proposal packets, and policies and procedures. You also will find training information, information on federal regulations as well as other resources.
