Actor, author, and activist, Hill Harper will serve as the keynote speaker for the 10th annual Celebration Banquet, for The Lauro Cavazos & Ophelia Powell-Malone Mentoring Program (Mentor Tech), on Friday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall.
Mr. Harper graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and earned degrees in Law and Public Administration from Harvard. He is known as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on the hit drama series, CSI: New York and has authored three books, including bestsellers: “Letters to a Young Brother” and “Letters to a Young Sister”.
Tickets for the banquet are on sale for $60 and $75 (includes admission into the VIP reception with Mr. Harper).
