Feminist Forum: Women Leading Women Through Passion and Perseverance
The Texas Tech University Women’s Studies Program will host three feminist forums this semester in the Teaching, Learning & Professional Development Center (TLPDC) on the main floor of the Texas Tech University Library.

The third and final forum in the series, "Women Leading Women Through Passion and Perseverance", on Friday April 27th, will be one of many events focusing on awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviors related to Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Guest Speaker(s), will include members of the TTU Student Organization V-Day Lubbock Coalition.

Across the Texas Tech University Campus multiple organizations, departments and centers conduct academic discussions raising public awareness about sexual violence and the need to educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence. Each day, people witness a continuum of behaviors that range from being respectful and safe, to sexually abusive and violent. Guest speakers of this forum will highlight ways they have brought the community together to organize, plan and discuss sexual violence and how they feel these events have reinforced the need for prevention efforts.

The forum will be held on Friday, April 27th in the Teaching, Learning and Professional Development Center in RM 153 (ground floor of the Library).

Space is limited. Registration for each forum is FREE. Please go to the link provided and click on "schedule of events" on the left side of the page to find the event and register. For non-TTU personnel please contact the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center (TLPDC) at (806) 742-0133 to register.
