Jereldine Redcorn is an enrolled member of the Caddo Nation and an award winning potter. She is widely recognized as responsible for reviving the Caddo pottery tradition. Her work is inspired by the designs found on pottery shards and vessels recovered from prehistoric and historic Caddo archaeological sites in Texas and surrounding states. Her intensive study of these objects combined with her intimate knowledge of Caddo culture provides her with a unique perspective on this art form. She has presented on Caddo pottery at several conferences and her work has been featured on the website Texas Beyond History.
