Maker Faire is a family-friendly event that celebrates arts, crafts, engineering, science and technology projects, and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset. Brought to Lubbock by the Texas Tech IEEE Student Branch, the Lubbock Mini Maker Faire will be held on the Texas Tech campus and showcase the talents and creativity of a wide range of students, alumni and community members.
IEEE hopes the Lubbock Mini Maker Faire will inspire youth to pursue careers in STEM related fields by enabling conversations between the best minds at Tech and brightest rising stars in the local K-12 community.
Adults tickets are $10 at the door, but Advance adult tickets are available online through April 27 for just $7.50.
