Special Topics in Higher Education: Community CollegeTransfer Students. EDHE: 5001 (3 credits) will be offered the 2nd summer session 2012. This course will focus on the experiences of community college transfer students and the challenges they encounter in terms of academic preparation, socialization and transfer and adjustment to the university environment. A particular interest will highlight the experiences of community college transfer students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
This graduate course is open to higher education majors and non-higher education majors.
