We are pleased to announce the College of Human Sciences will be hosting several contests in the 2012 Texas 4-H Roundup, which will be held on the Texas Tech University campus Monday, June 11 to Friday, June 15, 2012. We are looking for VOLUNTEERS!!!
Texas 4-H Roundup is a qualifying and invitational event for youth between the ages of 11 and 18 that have successfully placed in a qualifying event at the district level or signed up to compete in an invitational event at the state level. Texas 4-H Roundup includes approximately 50 different contests and workshops that test 4-H members on a wide range of knowledge and skills.
Human Sciences contests include: Fashion Show, Food Show, Nutrition Bowl, Consumer Decision Making, an assortment of judging contests, and educational presentations. Human Sciences contests are scheduled for Tuesday, June 12th to Thursday, June 14th, 2012. Any person enrolled as a student at Texas Tech University is eligible to participate as a volunteer for this event. Our call for volunteers spans across ALL majors, schools, ages and races.
We would love for any human sciences students, as well as any student who is interested to please sign-up to volunteer and help make this a successful event!
