Stop by and see us at the 2012 Gender Fair on Wednesday, May 2nd and Friday, May 4th from 9:30-11:30am in the Croslin Room at the TTU Library.
Gender Fair is an educational, awareness-oriented resource fair exploring gender, equity, and communication. COMS 3334/WS 3312 Gender & Communication will provide educational booths and resources about topics such as the broader umbrella of biological sex/ societal gender/gender identity/sexuality, gender marking in our communication, body image pressures for men and women, sexual activity education, gender equity in organizations, representation in politics, and violence against women. We will also be joined by TTU Women's Studies, TTU Student Counseling Center, FMLA, and the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center.
