Sociology Tutors Needed!
The TECHniques Center is looking for SOCIOLOGY tutors for the Fall 2012 semester!

The TECHniques Center is a tutoring program of Student Disability Services. We hire tutors to provide one-on-one tutoring for students in a variety of majors. If you enjoy helping others, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have earned at least 40 credit hours, and are available for paid training on Friday, August 24 and Saturday, August 25, consider joining our team!

Why should you be a TECHniques Center tutor?

(1) Our pay rates are competitive. Undergraduate students make $9.00 / hour, and graduate students make $10.00 / hour, with opportunities for raises. TECHniques Center tutors also receive compensation for training held throughout the semester.

(2) Scheduling is flexible. Students and tutors set their own tutoring schedules at the beginning of the semester.

(3) It's a great way to share your knowledge of classes you've earned an A or a B in! Plus, tutoring others helps you become a real expert in your field!

(4) We want you to develop professionally. We provide you with lots feedback and guidance so that you can develop a unique resume item.

If you are interested in applying to be a tutor with our program, go to http://www.depts.ttu.edu/techniques/ and click on the "Tutor Application" on the left. We hire tutors based on our students' schedules, so we're always accepting applications. Questions can be directed to Brandi Willis Schreiber at brandi.schreiber@ttu.edu or (806) 742-1822.
