Osher Lifelong Learning Institute presents "American Presidents Series: The Great Communicator and the Gulf War, Reagan and Bush," Oct. 9, 16, & 23
Rob Weiner – subject librarian at Texas Tech University Library who specializes in art, sequential art, music, and film – leads the lecture for our ongoing American Presidents Series; this year we will examine the Presidency of Ronald Reagan (two sessions) and George H.W. Bush (one session). The format of these sessions is lecture, discussion, documentary footage, and movies, paying particular attention to how the Presidents have been portrayed in film. Join us for our sixth year of discussing the American Presidents!
