Designed to help faculty and staff to better serve our veteran population, this one hour "Green Zone" Training will be held on Monday, August 13 in Kline Room on the Second Floor of the Museum of Texas Tech from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This program will help faculty and staff gain a better understanding of the student veteran population at Texas Tech.
The learning outcomes for this program are as follows:
1. Describe the current veteran population at Texas Tech.
2. Summarize the benefits available for student veterans and their dependents.
3. Recognize issues commonly experienced by student veterans.
4. Identify referral resources available for student veterans.
