Texas Tech and the TTU Health Sciences Center have joined together to support the March of Dimes' 2014 March for Babies Walk. Money raised in the March for Babies Walk will go toward programs that help mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies and prevent premature births. Since 1970, participants have raised $2 billion to benefit all babies.
Juan S. Muñoz, Senior Vice President and Vice Provost, is chairing this year's event and we hope you will support this great cause by taking part in the walk. To participate or for more information, please visit www.ttu.edu/walk.
The top individual faculty/staff members and team fundraisers will be awarded the following:
- Top Fundraiser - Four (4) tickets in the Athletic Director's suite for the TTU vs. Central Arkansas football game on August 30
- 2nd Place Fundraiser - Four (4) tickets to the TTU vs. Central Arkansas football game on August 30
- 3rd Place Fundraiser - Autographed Red Raiders football helmet
- Top Team - Dinner at the Texas Tech Club for up to 20 team members
Winners will be announced on April 21.
