This intermediate trip will take you to the next level of whitewater kayaking. This is often considered to be the best intermediate run in New Mexico and is definitely the place to put that newly learned roll to the test. This short four mile stretch called the Racecourse is located close to a roadway so this will give us the opportunity to run it multiple times on both Saturday and Sunday. Our goals are to get you comfortable paddling in class III whitewater and to teach you the necessary skills so that you can be successful in this adventure. If this trip sounds like it might appeal to your sense of adventure, make sure to sign up soon at the Outdoor Pursuits Center. The Intro to Whitewater Kayaking Trip is a prerequisite for this trip, unless otherwise approved by professional staff.
