As one of the oldest traditions at Texas Tech, La Ventana serves as the school's primary source of recorded history. Established in 1925, La Ventana has never skipped a year of publication. Its name is Spanish for "the window," and it was named not only to continue the school's Spanish motif, but because it is indeed the window into life at Tech.

La Ventana staff members pride themselves on hard work, dedication and talent. Each members plays a vital role in the process of producing a yearbook, and we expect nothing less than excellence. La Ventana is a spring-delivery publication, meaning the staff works from August to February to produce a book delivered in late April.
