We are looking for individuals to participate in a research study about their experience in learning that their romantic and/or sexual partner was actually already involved in a committed romantic relationship (i.e. you learned that your partner was committing an infidelity with you and you were the "other man" or "other woman"). To participate in this study you must be over the age of 18, proficient in the English language, and a U.S. citizen. You must have engaged in some type of romantic and/or sexual relationship in which you later learned your partner was already involved in a primary, committed romantic relationship. You are eligible to participate if your relationship is still ongoing or if it has ended.
You will be entered for a chance to win one of five $25 Amazon gift cards (approximate odds of winning are 1 in 20). You will be asked to answer some questions about yourself and your relationship experience. Any information you share will be kept private and your participation is completely voluntary.
