The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University is hosting the 2014 Symposium on Big Data and Data Analytics. This one day symposium will be held on Friday, April 25th at the Rawls College of Business building at the main campus in Lubbock from 8:30 – 5:00.
The theme of the symposium is “Innovate Research and Business with Big Data”. The objectives are to 1)identify trends driven by big data, 2)conceive strategies to take advantage of opportunities, and 3)form collaborations for future efforts across industry and academia. There are multiple sessions on strategy, technology, and business related topics. One session will be led by the Cloud Autonomic Computing (CAC) center and the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) at TTU.
