We are looking for female cigarette smokers to participate in a research study examining the effects of smoking and mood on communication. You can earn up to $40 for participating in the study.
Your can be eligible to participate in this study if:
1. You are 18-30 years old
2. You smoke at least 5 cigarettes per day
3. You are female
This study will involve 2 study sessions:
1. During the first session, you will be asked to complete questionnaires about your personality, health behaviors, and mood. Afterwards, you will be asked to refrain from smoking for 24 hours.
2. During the second session, you will be asked to engage in a brief conversation with another individual. This session will also involve a measure of your heart rate.
3. Finally, you will be asked to inform us of when you smoke your next cigarette.
To thank you for your time, you will receive up to $40.
