Earn up to $40 participating in research – watch videos and answer questions

Dear Students,

Mrs. Laura Grubb and Professor David Richman are conducting a study to learn more about how people use information they observe, such as when teachers observe children’s behavior in a classroom. The long-term goal of this study is to improve effective teacher training at the undergraduate level.

Briefly, Phase I of the study will involve spending three 60-minute sessions (up to 3 hours total across 3 different days) interfacing with a computer at the College of Education at Texas Tech. You will observe some videos, and answer some questions during each session. This study has two phases, and you will learn more about Phase II after you have completed Phase I. During Phase I you will be compensated $10 for each 60-minute session you attend, with a $10 bonus available for those who complete all three sessions (maximum compensation is $40).

If you are interested in participating in this study, or you have any questions about the study please contact Mrs. Grubb or Professor Richman (see below).

Kind Regards,

David Richman and Laura Grubb
