Respondus LockDown Browser
Due to limited usage and technical challenges with the product, Texas Tech University has decided not to renew the Respondus LockDown Browser campus site license. Our contract with Respondus LockDown Browser will end on August 31, 2014. TTU reached this decision after reviewing usage statistics on the number of courses that required students to use the browser, the number of faculty downloads over the last academic year, and the number of technical issues reported.

In partnership with the TTU IT Division, the Office of the Provost, and the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center (TLDPC), TTU Worldwide eLearning is working to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for online proctoring services. The goal is to have a new secure online exam proctoring service for faculty selected this summer, piloted in the fall, and fully implemented in Spring 2015. If you have any questions about this decision or would like to participate in the selection process, please contact Dr. Justin Louder at TTU Worldwide eLearning - elearning@ttu.edu.We welcome your participation in this important institutional selection.
