EPSY 6349 The Social Basis for Behavior: is an advanced course in human social and personality development. This involves discussions of parent-child relationships and their impact on the developing child, the impact peers have on development, competition and cooperation, the nature and consequences of 'social competence', self-regulation, morality, aggression, etc. This course will both survey broad topics and present research applications within each topic. In this regard, the course covers both the historical and cutting edge.
