Want to help a student succeed?
As you know, Texas Tech University has a goal of a student enrollment of 40,000 by the year 2020. Programs that provide retention and academic support for students are an integral part of reaching that goal.

Since 2002, minority and first-generation TTU students have been matched with caring faculty, staff members, and graduate students from Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center through the Lauro Cavazos & Ophelia Powell-Malone Mentoring Program, (Mentor Tech). The program strives to assist in the University’s retention efforts.
