The TTU IT Division welcomes Sonic Foundry to campus on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Representatives will discuss the features of the Mediasite 7 video publishing and classroom capture platform. The TTU Enterprise Mediasite system will be upgraded to version 7 in the near future. Mediasite 7 enhanced features include:
- Interactive video portal called Mediasite Showcase & Personal User Channels sites that enables users to create, spotlight and share live and on-demand content;
- Enhanced mobile app that enables users to browse, search and watch Mediasite video or Showcase over 4G;
- One-click publishing to Mediasite Showcase, Personal User Channels, YouTube, iTunes and iTunes U;
- New capture solutions, MultiView HD and the new RL100 Rich Media Recorders;
- Expanded videoconference endpoint support for capturing, archiving, streaming and managing video meetings in the cloud; and
- Ability to capture video from any mobile device and upload it to Mediasite.
