Yes, there are "rules" to appropriately conducting research. However, more importantly, there are practices that can maximize your productivity and the efficacy of your research. Dr. Marianne Evola, Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Administrator in the Office of the Vice President for Research, will discuss the rules of research and what happens when those rules are broken. However, she will also address how making good decisions in your daily research activities that can enhance your work, your relationships with colleagues and your productivity.
