TTU Wind Day!!!

Everyone is welcome to this event, which will be run by TTU National Wind Institute (NWI) faculty associates, staff and students from the TTU Wind Energy Student Association, all of whom will be available to answer questions about our degree options in the Wind Energy programs.

On display in the free speech area near the Student Union Building will be some of NWI’s storm chasing equipment, including one of the student-designed StickNet meteorological instrument, and a Ka-Band Mobile Doppler Radar truck.

Many Texas Tech students do not know the full scope of what the National Wind Institute has to offer, and some do not even realize that Wind Energy is a major here at TTU.   Hosting "TTU Wind Day" allows NWI to increase our engaged audience and to extend outreach to potential students of our undergraduate and graduate programs in Wind Energy, as well as to our TTU community campus-wide.

We hope you can stop by and celebrate our first TTU Wind Day!
