Se invita a niños estadounidenses de origen hispano entre 10 y 12 años de edad y a sus madres biológicas a participar en un estudio de investigación que nos ayudará a aprender más acerca de los pensamientos, sentimientos y comportamientos de los niños y de las madres con respecto a sí mismos, entre sí y sus relaciones. Este estudio de encuesta está aprobado por la Universidad Texas Tech y requiere aproximadamente una hora de su tiempo, y usted y su hijo/a completarán cuestionarios de uso común. Toda la información obtenida en esta encuesta será estrictamente de carácter confidencial. Tenemos flexibilidad en la programación de una hora de reunión en el edificio de Psicología de la Universidad Texas Tech o en su casa, y podemos reunirnos durante las noches y fines de semana.

Hispanic American children between 10 and 12 years and their biological mothers are invited to participate in a research study that will help us learn more about the thoughts, feelings and behaviors of children and mothers regarding themselves, each other and their relationships. This survey study is approved by the Texas Tech University and requires about an hour of your time, and you and your son / daughter will complete questionnaires in common use. All information collected in this survey will be strictly confidential. We have flexibility in scheduling a meeting time in the building of Psychology, Texas Tech University or at home, and can meet during evenings and weekends.
There will be a raffle to win one of 15 $ 25 gift cards from American Express! Prizes will be awarded at the end of data collection, which will probably be in May 2015. Odds of winning are 1 in 11.
