Kafana is the name used in several Balkan countries for a small, intimate gathering place like a café, in which the public gathers for coffee, food, music, dancing and fun. Join the Crafthouse Gastropub, Yoga Bean, the Roots Music Institute, and the TTU Balkan Ensemble as they recreate the atmosphere of a kafana on Saturday, October 4th, 2014. A special menu of Balkan cuisine will be offered on the evening of the concert at Crafthouse Gastropub, with a discount for concert ticketholders. After dinner, come next door to the Yoga Bean for coffee or tea, and attend the Balkan Ensemble’s concert in Yoga Bean’s studio.
