Technology is constantly evolving, and so are the risks. Awareness and education is key to keep our children safe online. The TTU IT Division invites all TTU faculty, staff, and students to attend this new workshop. It is especially recommended for parents, family members, or those working with children. Topics include:
- Online manners
- Age-specific recommendations for online activities
- Overview of apps, cyberbullying, and other risks
- General safety, awareness, and protection tips
- Online resources
Raising Digital Citizens will be offered on the following dates this Fall:
- October 22, noon-1pm
- November 6, 5:30-6:30pm
- November 19, 5:30-6:30pm
Because our facilities have limited seating, we ask that you please pre-register; you may visit http://itts.ttu.edu/training/shortcourses to register. Raising Digital Citizens, as well as other TTU IT Division ShortCourses, are held at the Advanced Technology Learning Center (ATLC), located in the west basement of the University Library building.
