Sign up to become an AVID tutor now.
The Office of Academic Enrichment has an excellent opportunity for students to become certified AVID tutors, which is a paid position. In order to qualify you must be, a Texas resident, enrolled for at least one-half of a full course load in a program of study, and have established financial need. You will go through a 1 day training session on October 15, 2014 from 1-5 pm in Holden Hall Room 121 to be AVID certified, which you will then be able to tutor students in both high school and college using AVID WICOR strategies.
