Open Teaching Concept Social Media Student Symposium

Join the Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center as we host our Open Teaching Concept Student Symposium Featuring Cory Session, Nick Vilbas and Jennifer Mirill of the Innocence Project of Texas.

 

About the Symposium:

The Open Teaching Concept Student Symposium is a half day activity designed to engage students in critical thinking, diverse dialogues, and leadership activities. The Symposium is designed to introduce students to diversity in their careers, communities and platforms beyond college. The Symposium will offer hands-on social media opportunities to explore and discuss diversity. All students will receive a certificate of completion.

Applications are available at Doak Hall 101, online at www.bit.ly/OpenTeaching and our social media platforms or one may be requested by email from crosscultural@ttu.edu

 

About the Innocence Project:

The Innocence Project of Texas is a non-profit organization dedicated to securing the release of those wrongfully convicted of crimes in Texas and educating the public about the causes and effects of wrongful convictions.
