We are looking for non-verbal children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), between the age of 6 and 11 years, to participate in a study about using iPads to teach communication skills. We will use systematic instructions to teach participants to navigate multiple page levels and combine symbols when requesting by using iPads during 30 minutes play time. The sessions will be conducted once a day, 3 times per week for 11 to 18 weeks. The study will take a place in local schools and/or in a therapy room located in the College of Education. Participating in this research will be completely confidential.
