Hello All,
The event that many of our new members have been begging us for is finally here!! Capture the Flag, cyber security exercise. We will be having training before the event to make sure that every team is prepared. Tyler Technologies will be sponsoring the event, with TRAINING and PRIZES .

6pm Friday Oct. 24th

Notes: We will be providing Pizza and some soda. If you need energy drinks to code with you need to bring your own supply.
Scenario
The details of the security scenario will be revealed at the event. This is to keep everyone on the same page, and on their toes. It is very relevant to what is happening in cyber security right now ( everything is fair game ).
Sign ups
We will be having this in teams of 3 people. Their is no limit to the number of teams. Signing up is Free. Below is the signup form. If you want to come in as a team of 3 people please indicate that in the other information field with the team name. We will be limiting the teams to 3 , to the best of our ability. We will be balancing the team for number of people and skill level of each team. We will do our best to make this as fair as possible.

I can’t tell you what qualifies as winning(it reveals too much about the scenario), you want your team to win.

What to bring ?
- Willingness to learn skills on the fly.
- Laptops ( you won’t do much cyber security without one)
-Must have wireless connection capability
-Laptop Charger
-Power Strips / Extension Cords ( 1 per team is a good bet)
-Desktops will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
