The Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center (CCAAC) presents #Ferguson. Join us for an open discussion over the many issues brought on following the tragic death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the town-hall forum and discuss the complex issues and begin a conversation about how we bridge the divide created, make change and move forward from this situation and similar situations in the world. All are invited to sit in and participate in the conversation. Participants will be asked to be respectful and listen to all comments.
This program is a part of the Diversity Dialogue series hosted by the CCAAC.
Diversity Dialogues is designed to encourage Texas Tech students to discuss current activities that deal with issues of differences, diversity, identity, and inclusion. These discussions are meant to be an open forum for expression and serve to situate broader ideas of multiculturalism and social justice within our own daily lives.
