Created in 2009, the Institute for Inclusive Excellence provides tenure-track faculty with an opportunity to develop and promote a greater understanding of the academic value of diversity. Participants will finish the Institute with a richer understanding of the professional and academic success that can be achieved through an institutional model of inclusive excellence. They will learn strategies and insights to better prepare Texas Tech students to be multiculturally competent and globally competitive.
Faculty who participate in the Institute will further assist the Division of Institutional Diversity, Equity & Community Engagement in the development of policies and programs that advance diversity and equity at Texas Tech.
The Institute will consist of a maximum of 15 select participants. Those invited to participate will also receive a $1,500 stipend upon completion of the Institute.
