Share with the Lubbock community how your culture celebrates new year or festivals

The Office of International Affairs, the Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center, and the TTU Ethics Center are inviting students, student organizations, faculty, and staff to co-host a community-wide new year celebration that will take place on Friday, Feb 6th, 2015, from 6 to 8 pm.

We are accepting proposals for hosting a theme table that shares with the Lubbock community how people celebrate new year or various festivals around the globe. Some ideas of activity include, but are not limited to, dumpling making, calligraphy, origami, Taichi basics, traditional dance, tea ceremony, festival music, arts and craft, etc.

Please send the following information to Dr. Yi-hui Lee (yi.lee@ttu.edu) by Jan 15th, 2015:

Primary contact person's name, email, phone number, student organization if applicable, the theme (title), a description of the activity (what the attendees can expect to learn or experience), and a list of members who will co-lead the activity. You could also sign up a theme and we will team up the ones with same interest.
