PUAD 5348-002, CRN 28193, Collaborative Management
In response to the trend, government organizations, without regard to their levels, have pursued collaboration with multiple organizations including other government agencies and non-governmental actors, nonprofits as well as for-profits, by forming and managing interorganizational networks. In this class, students are anticipated to study important theoretical issues in collaborative and network management and then improve their understanding of this field by discussing collaboration network cases in diverse policy areas. They will also learn how usefully social network analysis programs can be used when we study characteristics of collaboration networks and their influence on public policy. Graduate course meets on Monday evenings.
