OLLI & Alumni Assoc. present "Policies that Have Made China King" February 9

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) & Alumni Assoc. present "King Cotton in China: The Policies that Have Made China King at the Expense of Everyone Else" February 9 from 5:30-7pm 

This is a discussion that will examine the industry and the policies that have made China the leading cotton economy and the costs that have been imposed on China and the rest of the world. The instructor is Dr. Darren Hudson, the Larry Combest Endowed Chair of Agricultural Competitiveness in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at Texas Tech University.
