The 2015 General Election filing period for Student Government office is closing. If you are interested in serving as an Executive Officer or College Senator for 2015-2016, you must submit an “Intent to Run” by 5:00pm on January 30th with the filing fee. Form must be completed online printed and turned in with your filling fee. “Intent to Run” forms are located on the SGA OrgSync portal that can be linked to from the SGA website and this Tech Announce.
The “Intent to Run” form and filing fee should be submitting to Katherine or Gaye in the SGA office, payment may be made anytime during the intent filing period. It is $20 for Senators, and $30 for Executive Candidates. Those wishing to cross file for Executive and Senator At Large must have at least one semester of experience as a senator or one year in an executive office and will pay a $35 filing fee.
