The Veteran's Association at Texas Tech is starting a new volunteer program that will focus on the aging veterans and their families living here in Lubbock and the surrounding community. Any students, veteran or not, are invited to sign up and start making a difference by helping these families out with:
o Housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchens, etc.)
o Lawn care (mowing, weeding, pruning, etc.)
o Painting (interior or exterior)
o Minor household repairs
o Cooking/Delivering meals
o Shopping/Errands
Donate an hour of your time every week to help make this program a success and show your appreciation to these amazing veterans in a tangible way!
