Award Winning Poet Jeffrey Harrison Reading
Jeffrey Harrison is the author of five books of poetry.  His first volume, The Singing Underneath, was selected by James Merrill for the National Poetry Series.  Since then he has published Signs of Arrival, Feeding the Fire, Incomplete Knowledge--a finalist for the Poets' Prize--and Into Daylight, published in 2014 by Tupelo Press as winner of the Dorset Prize; as well as The Names of Things: New and Selected Poems, published in the U. K. by Waywiser Press.  He has literally traveled around the world as recipient of an Amy Lowell Travel Grant, and has received Guggenheim and NEA fellowships among other awards.  His poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Yale Review, Poetry Northwest, The Nation, Poetry, Hudson Review, American Poetry Review and Garrison Keillor's radio program Poets' Almanac, among many other magazines and anthologies.
