Are you interested in a congressional internship
in Washington, DC? Applications for fall 2005
scholarships are due in the President's Office,
room 150 of the Administration Building by
Friday, March 11th, 2005, 5:00p.m.
(Recommendation letters may arrive later.)
The President's Congressional Intern Scholarships
provide students with a $4,000 stipend to help
defray costs of the internship. The President's
office also arranges for intern housing in an
apartment that is 1½ blocks from the Congressional
House Office Buildings. The apartment is a great
benefit of this program as it provides safe and
affordable housing within walking distance to the
interns’ offices.
All majors and disciplinary backgrounds are
encouraged to apply! Undergraduate students who
have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit
hours with a minimum cumulative grade point
average of 3.0 or graduate students who have
completed a minimum of 15 semester hours with a
minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25
are eligible to participate.
