Red Raider fans can start making their post-Thanksgiving plans as tickets for the Texas Tech-Baylor football game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington are on sale now through the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office.
Texas Tech and Baylor will be meeting for the third consecutive Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shootout in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and for the second time at Cowboys Stadium.
Red Raider fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets through the athletics ticket office so that revenues generated from those purchases will directly benefit Texas Tech. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.texastech.com or by calling 1-888-GO BIG 12 or (806) 742-TECH.
Tickets for the game can be purchased for as low as $40 with other locations priced at $65 and $120. Texas Tech students can purchase two tickets (per student ID) for $30 each but must do so in person at the athletics ticket office located in the north end of Jones AT&T Stadium and present a valid TTU ID. Special group pricing is also available for groups of 20 or more in the $65 and $40 seating areas.
Fans ordering tickets will also have the ability to purchase parking. Advanced automobile parking is priced at $35 while RV parking is $150 and is only available through Ticketmaster.com. Fans should look for a parking link on the confirmation page of their online ticket order through texastech.com, which will redirect to Ticketmaster for parking options.
Additionally, the Red Raider Club is partnering with the Gaylord Texan and the Sheraton Arlington hotel for special rates on Friday and Saturday nights. For more information, visit texastech.com
Season tickets also remain on sale and these packages include all six home games and start at just $189. Families can also take advantage of the five-game family plan, which includes four reserved seats to the Texas State, Nevada, Kansas State, Iowa State and Oklahoma State games in section 11 for $560. Each additional pack is $140. The minimum purchase is four seats.
The game in Arlington will cap a strong November schedule for the Red Raiders as Tech opens the final month on the road at rival Texas on Nov. 5, followed by a home date against Oklahoma State on Nov. 12. The Cowboys will be making back-to-back trips to Lubbock as part of this new nine-game conference schedule. Texas Tech will play its final two games of the regular-season away from home as the Red Raiders travel to Columbia, Mo., on Nov. 19 to face Missouri and to Arlington on Nov. 26 to play Baylor at Cowboys Stadium.
