Microsoft has recently replaced its Communicator 2011 software for Mac with Lync 2011. The upgraded software is designed for TTU’s Lync Server 2010 and provides a wider range of functionality with added features.
Installing the upgrade is a simple process and should take no more than a few minutes to complete. You may download the Lync client for Mac through the eRaider website at https://eraider.ttu.edu. The upgrade is currently optional, but after Tuesday, October 25, you will need to install the upgrade in order to continue using Tech IM and Unified Communications.
