The TTU Office of the CIO is bringing a trainer with the Dell Education Group back to campus to provide additional training on advanced IT security topics, as part of our Safe Computing Practices Campaign. The training will cover the following content:
• Challenges of Mobile Computing
• Solutions for Mobile Security
• Social Networking: The Growing Threat
• Attack Vector Updates
• Compliance Overview at TTU
Please join us on Tuesday, December 13th from 9-3:00 pm in the Matador Room, Student Union Building. The Office of the CIO will provide lunch for the professional training session, so please RSVP to ITevents@ttu.edu.
Attendees who want to receive Continuing Education Credit (CEU) for attending this Advanced Security Training will be required to pay the $30 processing fee. Fee includes CEU certificate from Texas Tech University-University College and a CEU grade report. Attendees can make their payment either by personal check or TTU departmental FOP (account) the day of the workshop.
