GIS Day is an international day of education about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geography. On any given day, over two million people around the world use GIS in research, commercial organizations, and government agencies. GIS is a multi-billion dollar a year industry with lots of job opportunities.
If you are interested in learning more about GIS, you are welcome and invited to attend.

• 1:00 – 2:00 Keynote presentation “Geo-Enabling Your Career” Room 120 Experimental Sciences Building. Presented by Dr. Joseph Kerski, Geographer and Education Manager at Esri, the world’s leading geographic information systems software company.

• 2:00 – 4:00 Open House at the Center for Geospatial Technology - Experimental Sciences Building Room 124.  Please join us to learn more about GIS technology. Come view our map gallery, on-line map atlases and free GIS data downloads.
