West Texas Applied Math Graduate Minisymposium (abstract deadline approaching)
The minisymposium is on Friday April 28th 2017 and it is addressed to all graduate students and post-docs in the area of applied mathematics.
It will be a one day event with contributed talks of 25 minutes each plus 5 minutes for questions. A poster presentation will take place during the lunch break.
Coffee and lunch breaks will be provided.

Engineering and physics majors working in the field of applied math are welcome to contribute submitting an abstract for either a talk or a poster.
The day after the event, there will be a barbecue open to all participants of the minisymposium.

We will have the pleasure to have Professor Max Gunzburger (http://people.sc.fsu.edu/~mgunzburger/) from Florida State as Keynote Speaker.
There is no registration fee to participate and the deadline for contributed talks or poster presentations is Tuesday March 28th 2017.
